The intercollegiate sectional was sponsored by the University of Michigan and the Michigan Rifle and Pistol Association. This sectional determines who will qualify to attend the club nationals  at FT. Benning. 27 shooters from University of Michigan , Michigan State University, Hillsdale College, and Elmhurst College attended.
