     Jim Primeau

    5-6-56    to    11-17-16

Shooter, competitor, and friend to all. Jim left us gun in hand. He was in his deer blind hunting with his son Cody and went quickly from a heart attack. Jim loved coming to Grayling and shooting long range matches with us. He was humble as could be and got more enjoyment out of seeing others success than his own. Jim eagerly took on responsibilities as one of our Range Safety Officers which meant more time at the range training and spending time during the match helping to run the firing line. Jokes, stories, and any help he could offer with shooting information were what you could expect every night sitting around after the match. There was never a day went by that Jim didn't have a story to tell us about his wife Debbie, his 2 boys Jim & Cody, or his parents and siblings. Family first, would be the best way I could describe him. Jim and his wife Debbie also shot Black Powder Silhouette at A.P. Goodrich in Alma together for years. Jim was also the President of the Tobacco River Muzzle Loader's Rifle and Pistol Club. His passing is going to leave an empty hole in our hearts and our organization. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to Debbie, Jim and Cody.
