Location: Monroe Rifle & Pistol Club – 1220 Yensch Rd. Dundee, MI 48131
Cost: $30 Adult (18+), Under 18 Free. Open to all eligible competitors (minimum age is 12)
Match Capacity: 40 Competitors (4 relays x 10 firing points)
Re-Entry: No Re-Entry allowable – 1 and done so bring your A game. You may pre-register at jaroot@gmail.com
Allowable Firearms: Match Rifle, Service Rifle, CMP legal games rifles per CMP 27th Edition HP rules and 11th Edition Games rules.
Triggers will be weighed, and rifles sealed prior to firing of match.
As Issued Rifles: Section 4.2.1 – 4.2.5
Modern Military: Section 5.2.1 – 5.2.4
NOTE: All unlimited rifles will be treated as service rifles and will be required to utilize a sling attached to rifle at both ends.
Service Rifle: Section 4.1.1 – 4.1.4
Match Rifle: Section 4.1.5
Course of Fire: 3x20 format with shoot-off final. Match will be fired on shotmarker Etargets and CMP rules governing Etargets will be utilized for all missing shots. Shotmarkers will be configured to show only last shot (not the whole group) – competitors can plot.
200 yards on the NRA SR target – Integer scoring
- 3-minute prep + 2 minutes for 2 sighting shots + 20 minutes for 20 record shots standing (offhand).
- 3-minute prep + 20 minutes for 20 record shots standing (offhand).
- 3-minute prep + 20 minutes for 20 record shots standing (offhand).
Final stage (top 15% of competitors, 3 competitors minimum) – Decimal scoring
- 3-minute prep + 10 minutes for 10 record shots standing (offhand)
- 1 shot in 45 seconds – Value added to 10 shot score – lowest score after shot will be eliminated
- 1 shot in 45 seconds repeated until winner is identified
Ammunition: Competitors may use any safe ammunition
Competitor Duties: All competitors will be required to perform score keeper duty
Prizes awarded:
- Winner awarded framed recognition as match winner of the MRPC Offhand Extravaganza.
- Minimum of 50% of match fees returned in monetary awards – payout % and amounts determined based on # of shooters
- Lewis award system to be utilized, see below
- Payout schedule determined by the following

- 1 - 10 competitors – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
- 11 – 20 competitors – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 11th, 12th, 13th
- 21 – 30 competitors – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 11th, 12th, 13th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd
- 31 – 40 competitors – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 11th, 12th, 13th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 31st, 32nd, 33rd
- Club retains match fees for any place above not filled by a competitor (example only 32 shooters, 33rd pay out retained by club)
- Additional prized may be awarded as available at match directors’ discretion.
