On August 20-21 the Michigan State Prone Championship was held at the Capital City Rifle Club range in Williamston. Twelve shooters attended to be called state champion.

At the end of the first day Mike O'Connor had a 2 point lead over Gary Duda and 3 points over Michelle Bohren. At the end of the match Mike had a 2 point lead over Michelle.
