The 2018 prone championships were held at the Capital City range in Williamston Mi. We had 10 shooters participate this year which is down slightly from last. The conditions on Saturday started with a lite rain that ended at 9:15. The rest of the day was overcast and threatening. Sunday started out with fairly calm winds but became high and switching.
At the end of the first day Mike O'connor had 2 point lead over Pete Church which culminated with another 3 points on Sunday.
A tight race developed between Gerry St. James and Gary Duda in any sight Gerry winning by a point.
When all was said and done, this years state champion was Mike O'Connor.

I wish to thank Whitney Everest for supplying wind flags with out which we would have been in trouble. Many thanks to Mike O'Connor for doing the necessary stat work.
